Registration Registration for the 2026 calisthenics year will open on our website on Friday, 16 January 2026. Registration is due by 27 January 2026 for returning members, and 10 February 2026 for new members, to cover insurance. Without insurance, training is not permitted. In addition to insurance, this payment allows members to take part in South Australian competitions as it includes the Australian Calisthenic Federation (ACF) and Calisthenic Association of South Australia (CASA) affiliation fees. This fee also covers general administration and music copyright. Registration will not be approved for members with outstanding invoices (unless they have an agreed existing payment plan with the Club). Once these invoices are paid, then their registration can be approved and subsequently will be able to attend lessons. Unregistered members cannot:
Upon registration, members are bound by the agreement outlined on the terms of registration page. Lesson Fees Lesson fees cover the associated costs of running lessons such as coaches' wages, hall hire, stage rehearsals, lighting, team entry fees and tuition as well as hair & make-up and fundraising levies. Costume fees, which are included in the annual lump sum/instalments invoices, cover the costs associated with the hire or trimming of club or privately owned costumes or making of new costumes and headpieces. A new rod for competition use is also included. Clubs are provided to members, however, if additional new clubs are required then this may incur a separate charge. The cost of any wigs or shoes required may be an additional charge. Additionally, the cost of camp has been included in the annual lump sum/instalments invoices. This avoids having two invoices (i.e. instalment #2 and camp registration) requiring payment one after the other. Lesson fees do not include:
If the 3-instalments option is selected at registration, then these fees are divided into three equal payments with invoices sent out in week 4 of school term 1 and week 2 of school terms 2 and 3. There is no instalment issued in school term 4. Each instalment is to be paid by the due date on the invoice (two weeks after issue) or members will no longer be permitted to train. If the annual lump sum option is selected, then an invoice will be issued in week 4 of school term 1 with a 5% discount on lesson fees. As with the 3-instalments option, the invoice is to be paid by the due date (two weeks after issue) or the member will no longer be permitted to train. The 5% discount will also be removed. Siblings attract a 10% discount on lesson fees. In the case of the 3-instalments option, the full discount is applied on the instalment #1 invoice. Please note that lessons fees MUST be paid in order to participate in pupil skills and the Solo/Duo season. Sports Vouchers In 2026, children aged 5 to 15 years old (inclusive) will be eligible for for up to two South Australian Government sports vouchers (these children will have a year of birth from 2011 to 2021). Eligible members can check the Use sports voucher? option during registration and enter the relevant Medicare details to offset lesson fees. Please also select whether 1 or 2 vouchers are to be used. For the 3-instalments option, the first voucher will be deducted from the instalment #1 invoice, and if required, the second voucher from the instalment #2 invoice. For more information about the sports voucher scheme, visit the Office of Recreation and Sport website. Club Merchandise A club tracksuit is mandatory for all members. If you require a new tracksuit, but not sure about sizing, come to one of our "try on" sessions. Please refer to Brighton's private members Facebook page for those dates. Our merchandise officer will be there to assist with sizing and merchandise questions. Polos are also available to try on. Tracksuits and polos are required to be ordered through our website. The closing date will be confirmed and published on our website, as well as the private members Facebook page. Club Camp The annual Brighton Calisthenics Club camp will again be held at Nunyara on 13-15 March 2026. This year, camp-related information will be collected during the club registration process. Costs have remained the same as previous years with $190 for Sub Junior, Junior and Intermediate teams and $90 for the Senior team. This year, all Tinies teams will visit rather than stay over. Further information will be provided closer to the time. Pupil Skills Pupil skills lessons for the November/December 2026 exams will be held during October and November (dates to be confirmed) and are an additional cost to lesson fees. As stated above, all lesson fees are required to be paid to be eligible to register for these pupil skills lessons. Members will need to register and pay through our website. Members will also need to register with CASA to undertake the exam (done through the CASA event portal). Those costs, as at January 2026, were:
While not compulsory for team competitions, pupil skills are required for those members who wish to compete in the CASA Graceful Girl and Solo/Duo competitions. More information will be provided closer to the time. Solo Coaching and Private Lessons Fees to be set by negotiation with the coach and should cover both tuition and hall hire. |
